WALKING IN DIVINE LIFE {ZOE} part 1

"Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.” John 5:25-26.   KJV

INTRODUCTION

The moment we surrender our lives to Christ, we receive everlasting life or divine life in limitless measure in our human Spirit {John 3:16}.  Eternal life is translated from the Greek word Zoe. English language is generally constraint in words; therefore, the best that could be done in translating the bible, specifically, the New Testament, from Greek to English language was to use the word 'life' to connote the Greek word, Zoe, (life of God); the same word which unfortunately, was used to portray several other Greek words with different meanings.

UNDERSTANDING THE LIFE OF GOD (ZOE)

 The word, 'Life' from our text does not refer to the life of man. The word used in the Greek language to describe the life of man is ‘Bios;’ referring to the quality of the life in human being. Instead, the Greek word that translated ‘life’ in the above verse is ‘Zoe.’  

In John 5:25-26, the Bible tells us that the Father has life in Himself, so has He also given to the Son to have life in Himself too. This tells us that the very essence of God is Life which in Greek Language is called ‘Zoe;’ the divine life. The primary content of divinity is Life; Zoe. Therefore, the essential component in the Father is divine life (Zoe). Hence, divine life is the divine substance in God that makes Him who He is.

Leviticus 17:11-14;

   11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

   12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

   13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

   14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.  KJV

The scriptures make it clear that the life of man or of the flesh is in the blood. Even science confines that the blood is what link every human being to natural life. If the blood in a human being is completely drained, then, he or she will stop breathing. Also, every disease actually attacks the blood which serves as our link to our physical existence. As blood is the very life in man upon which their natural existence depends, so also is Zoe or the life of God connects any human being to spiritual existence. It takes Zoe for us to be connected to the spiritual realm. We need Zoe for us to be able to function in the attributes and dimensions of God. We are not just natural beings, but we are spiritual beings. Thus, we live on Zoë; the divine life.

 

DIVINE LIFE: THE NATURE OF GOD

Our Understanding of God will make us describe Him to be all-powerful, bold and extremely knowledgeable. However, we can not inscribe any of these to His nature. Although, God is all-powerful, but He is not Power! Though, God is bold, but He is not boldness. Also; though, God is all-knowing, yet, He is not knowledge. The only virtue that does not only describe God's attribute, but much more portrays His nature is Love. Hence, God is absolutely loving; but essentially, He is Love!

God is who He is because of His divine life. The essential component of who He is or His nature is 'Zoe' or divine life. We have already established the fact that God is love personified. And so, the primary ingredient of the love of God is the divine life. 

Furthermore, all of God's characteristics and qualities are derived from His divine life. For instance, God is omnipresent ( i.e, He is everywhere). He is everywhere, in every nation and dimension of existence all at the same time. Our God is present in heaven and in all the nations of the earth, and in all the planets of existence all at the same time. As a matter of fact, His sovereign presence is revealed in hell. He is absolutely awesome.

Psalm 139: 7-8

   7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

   8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there .   KJV

Moreover, all of these is possible because of who He is. The life of God is the source of His divinity, sovereignty and awesomeness. Therefore, the primary asset of divinity is divine life.

Again, God is all-knowing (i.e, having depth of knowledge and absolute knowledge of the past, present and future) because of the divine life in him. God is all-powerful, there is nothing impossible for God; this is also because of the nature of life in Him- the life everlasting. God is slow to wrath; He is swift to forgive because of His divine life. Human being are naturally not like that because of the fall and corruption at work in them. God is plenteous in mercy because of the endless measure of life everlasting that is at work in Him. Divine life is the very substance that is in God that defines all His attributes and initiates all His divine qualities.

PROPHETIC WORD OF THE LORD FOR AD 2013 {part iii}

A CALL TO LOVE-WALK: SPRINGBOARD TO THE RELEASE OF GOD’S POWER

Those who despise the Corporate Anointing and gathering of the saints will not participate in the coming move of the Spirit. Those who despise my Spirit, says the Lord, will not be immersed in the rivers of life, but rather languish in dry land and desolate place. The church must begin to cherish one another and place great value on their brethren, if these waves of the Spirit will be sustained and result in widespread global and enduring restoration move of God and awakening of the Spirit. The capacity and container that will accommodate the flood of the coming rain of the Spirit is the unconditional love of God.

The love of God must begin to fill our hearts beyond human imagination. The LORD our GOD is calling the church to an effective love-walk. Our love-walk will serve as the springboard to the manifestation of God’s power in the coming seasons of our lives. Our divine mandate is only fulfilled in our love-walk. Love is the LORD’s commandment to the church. If you fulfill all other commandments but fail in the commandment of love, you have failed in all. But if you obey the commandment of love, then you have fulfilled all of the requirements of God.

The LORD will begin to entrust great authority into the hand of loving people, thus, and only as they get more devoted to loving the Lord and loving one another. If God’s people will learn to love, then heaven will anoint the church with great power. It is high time for folks in Christ to begin to pray for one another with deep compassion and love. Prayers that are motivated by love and compassion will arise to the LORD in heaven, and the LORD GOD of Elijah will answer by fire. The fire of revival will consume the fears of His people and deliver them from their snares. The emerging church is a Power-church. The LORD will announce His church in the coming season with fire! The fire of His Presence will advertise the initiatives and activities of the Church and the nations will treble at the majesty of the King of glory. God’s powerful people will be known as the burning ones; they will be defined by spiritual hunger and consumed with the love of God.

The LORD will begin to judge the spirit of pride and arrogance that lead men and women to dissociate themselves from their own brethren. There is a spirit of error that is pervading the church under the disguise of spirituality. This error starts with hurt when not dealt with, results in bitterness. Then, once bitterness gains root deep within, critical spirit is formed.

1 Corinthians 14:1

1 ¶ Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.   (NKJV)

1 Corinthians 13:1

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.   (NKJV)

A SEASON OF CLARITY AND ILLUMINATION

The God of heaven and earth is releasing great grace upon the church for the unveiling of His counsel, mind and heart to the intent that the kingdom of God will find free expression in our age and generation through His people. The Church has come into the season of brighter illumination and clarity in the Spirit. The word of God will be revealed than ever before and the mysteries of Christ will be distinctly understood by those seeking intimacy with Him. If the primary desire of our heart is to be the Lord’s companion and become His habitation in the earth; then, the Spirit of revelation and wisdom will be mightily at work in us to judge every trace of darkness within and reveal God’s glory in you. Light will shine forth from heaven above to align the path of those whose hearts are set towards knowing the Lord’s heart and doing His will.

God is causing a mighty stirring in the heart of His children towards attaining the standard of Christ set before them by the Spirit of God. Every season of your life from this year AD 2013 will be famous for specific revelation of Jesus that will set the standard of God’s requirements and demands before you - set the tune for God’s dealing in due season – and chart the course for the Prophetic revelation of your destiny in God. The Lord is bringing the body of Christ to the place of deeper dealings of the Spirit. The Lord is drawing His children’s attention more and more towards His Corporate and Personal dealing with them, so that they will be more strategic and deliberate in their devotion towards pleasing Him and doing His will. 

Ephesians 1:17-20

17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places   (NKJV)

ERA OF THE SEAL OF HEAVEN’S ENDORSEMENT

AD 2013 marks the beginning of a new era in the realm of the Spirit when God’s faithful servants, handmaidens, and children that have refused to waver to the left or right, but rather stayed focus on His instructions and commandments over the years. The Lord will place the seal of His endorsement on those committed to His dealings. He will begin cover them with His goodness and build them a sure house. The Lord will begin to honour and visit those that have consistently resisted the temptation to succumb to the Spirit of compromise. And because you are devoted to building according to the divine pattern- because you have refused to partake of the delicacies of the kings of the earth- because you have chosen not to stain your garments of righteousness; therefore, I will come to you with mercy, says the Lord. I will show you the path of life and manifest myself unto you. In the coming seasons of famine of the word of God and scarcity of the Spirit, I will rain righteousness upon you and shower mercy upon your field. You will experience unprecedented atmosphere of the Spirit and the wild-fire of revival will burn brightly in your heart.

These are the days when the love of many is waxing cold; I will renew your youth like eagles to attain new heights in the Spirit, says the Lord. You will occupy new frontiers and possess new territories by my Spirit. I declare this new phase of your life a season of Open doors for the advancement of heaven’s Prophetic initiatives and agendas, says the Lord. I declare it the season of Apostolic recovery and Governmental take over. The might of Jehovah is being forcefully unveiled to showcase kingdom-dominion in the earth.

Powerful Apostolic and Prophetic authority is coming abundantly upon those who are constantly waiting upon the LORD to perceive His mind and understand His ways. A height level of spiritual authority and intensity of God’s dispensation is coming upon those that have consistently occupied their watch in the Spirit to discern times and seasons. The Lord is calling His children to go the extra-mile to please Him and be sold out to will. He is anointing those giving to His pleasures with His holy ointments to manifest His power and show forth my glory in the earth.

 Malachi 3:17-18

17  They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him."

 18 Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.    (NKJV)

CALL TO PRIESTHOOD

The God of heaven and earth is calling the body of Christ unto priesthood. In the seasons ahead, the Lord is restoring our priestly ministries, and this is not just referring to the fivefold ministry gifts of Christ but about the saints of God. We, the children of God, are His royal priesthood- every child is a priest. The Lord wants us in His presence beholding His face; He desires intimacy and a very close walk this year. The essence of the priesthood is intimacy; when we dwell in his presence we will be illuminated, we will be full of light and this light will dispel darkness. We will be guided by the light from his presence. In beholding his face, we will find true healing for our hurts and pain; we will begin to understand the true meaning of God’s love.  The love of God is being poured out. I see a lot of fallen soldiers restored. Men and women of God who had been beaten by the devil are being healed by the power of the father’s love through the power of intercession.

2013, there is a call to deeper devotional walk with God. We must consecrate our lives. Grace has been released for victory; we will overcome all forms of defilement as we spend time in prayer. You will walk in victory over anger, covetousness and every kind of infirmity of the flesh and spirit. Set yourself apart, receive fresh impetus, fresh drive and passion, experience the heart of flesh and be healed from a stony heart. In his presence your heart will become tender, I will enable you says the Lord, I will empower you with my might. The church talking about my children has been under so much reproach because of filthy garments, sins of the heart. As we commit ourselves to spending time in his presence, we will find deliverance from secret sins and the garment of reproach will be rolled away. Grace, there is coming the rain of grace for those who obey the call to exercise their priestly duties, the heavens will open up and the impossible will become possible.

Joshua 3:5

5 And Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you."

2 Corinthians 7:1

1 ¶ Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

JUDGMENT TO BEGIN FROM THE CHURCH

Churches that are driven by the desire to succeed and to make name in the sight of man will be adversely exposed to the intrigues of the evil one and will be unprepared to resist them. Such churches will become platforms for lying spirit to operate and incite deception, greed and strife in the hearts of God’s people that are gullible and insensitive in the Spirit. Carnality and sins will be multiplied in churches where the people are not chasing after God; instead, pursuing the acquisition of material assets. The Spirit of God is being presently grieved by the high-level of compromise and worldliness in the church today. A lot of our churches are trying to seek relevance with the world. Wrong standards are being set for believers and folks are being put under pressure to conform to the image of the beast.
Therefore, the Lord will begin to depart from places where the worship and love of mammon is being ardently practiced. God’s judgment will begin from His church. The Lord will begin to purge His people from all these impurities and will begin to drive out the spirit of buying and selling- HE will begin to expel the act of merchandizing of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Subsequently, truth will be restored in the church and the demonstration of the Spirit and power will become a common place experience.

1 Peter 4:17-19
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

 18 Now "If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?"

 19 Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.   (NKJV)

A YEAR OF RESTORATION OF GOD’S GLORY

The Lord will begin to honour and elevate platforms and churches where the ways of God are being ardently taught and constantly proclaimed. He will begin to restore the power and purity of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the church. We will see lives that are broken and crushed completely restored through the power of the Truth of the gospel. Heaven will begin to promote places where the integrity and purity of the word of God are being preserved. The Lord of harvest is calling forth centers in the earth where the undiluted word of God are being taught and proclaimed. HE will begin to glorify such platforms and release authority upon them to gather the harvest HE is releasing into the Church. The rain of righteousness is coming mightily upon the earth. And it will flood and fill the whole earth with the manifest-presence of God and bring forth God’s glory for mankind to behold. The coming rain will refresh the church and release waves of the Spirit.
The waves of supernatural healing and demonstration of the miraculous will be mightily revealed in the church. Signs and wonders will resurface in the church with greater intensity and strength. The heathen will witness rough miracles and naked Power of the cross again. I perceive the level of the miraculous coming upon the church will harvest and draw many muslims and atheists into God’s kingdom and faith of our LORD JESUS. The whole earth will witness the demonstration of saving Power of the cross anew. The mercy of the LORD will be unleashed in the earth and God’s sovereign move will visit mankind to reveal Christ, the King of Glory.

Waves of God’s awe and sovereign move are coming into the church to strengthen God’s children and their resolve in the will of God. The corporate fellowship of believers whose gathering is unto the LORD: to seek and know, will be graced with the fire of God’s presence. The awe of the LORD will be greatly revealed in corporate meetings of God’s people like never before. The Most High will constantly envelope the gathering of the saints with intense atmosphere of the Spirit; and such powerful atmosphere will come with the awe of God to arrest people in their sins with the conviction of the Holy One and new their commitment to the word of God. In the coming seasons, we will witness in the church, powerful move of the Spirit that will lead to widespread repentance from sins in the earth and brokenness of heart unto the LORD among God’s people.

 Isaiah 43

18 "Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.

 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.   (NKJV)

 

A SEASON OF SUPERNATURAL BOLDNESS AND GREAT FAITH

The awe of God will also prompt the consciousness of God’s presence in the church. It will reinforce the conviction of God’s children to come out of their comfort zone and step out of their fears to dare the GOD of heaven and the earth. And as a result, the Lord will begin to fulfill His unfailing word and perform His determinate counsels to honour His covenant with His people. The true church will stand out amid oppositions and compromise in the coming years because of their reinforced conviction in the LORD. The LORD will greatly demonstrate His might and strength through His sons and daughters. God’s manifest-presence will robe the church with the cloak of supernatural boldness to arise and overcome every adversity and work of darkness. The Spirit of boldness from the LORD will fill and intoxicate God’s children that are committed to walking in the Spirit, and they will manifest the spectacular and do the unusual. It’s high-time for the church to break the jinx of limitations and restrains holding the church bond. The God of heaven and earth declares that it is time to do the impossible. The LORD will arise through the obedience of His people and He will back up their words and honour their faith in His word.

Zechariah 12:8

8 "In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them.  (NKJV)

PROPHETIC WORD OF THE LORD FOR AD 2013 {part1}

A YEAR OF CONFLICTS AND CONFRONTATIONS

The year 2013 is earmarked to be a significant year of great happenings in the earth. The Lord of hosts is set to move mightily and His fame will be seen and heard off, even, to the ends of the earth. The God of wonders who dwells in the bush will be revealed in power and awe, and His glory will shine forth for all to see. The God of glory will thunder: the Lion of the Judah will roar, and nations will quake at the sound of His majesty. Mountains will skip like rams, and hills leap like rams, sea will flee as the king of glory arises in the earth; mountains will melt like wax before the Presence of the Most High.

This year 2013 will be that of intense battle between good and evil; between righteousness and lawlessness; and between the Kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. The enemy will attempt to frustrate God’s children set to do His biddings in the earth. The evil one will set out to intimidate them and mount pressure on them to compromise their godly values. The Spirit of the age will pressurize them to give in to carnality and pleasures of this world. Darkness in the air will become thicker and the atmosphere will get more hostile that ever before. Unfortunately, this will disarm people’s resistance against temptations and sins. It will cause the heart of men and women to gravitate towards evil and wickedness. Many people will embrace iniquity and indulge in disgraceful activities of the flesh than one could ever imagine. As a matter of fact, people will speak ill of righteousness and persecute those who stand for godly values.

Matthew 24:12

 "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

 

Revelation 12:7-9

7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

All the same, the Lord is amassing great grace upon His people to prevail against the pressure from the forces of darkness and overcome all their plots and intrigues against God’s people. Great grace is coming upon you to shield and shelter you against all the incursions of the enemies and assaults from the kingdom of darkness. The Spirit of God will be greatly at work in you to defy the agenda of darkness and reign in dominion. You will prevail by the word of the Lord and advance against the forces of hell to cause God’s glory to flood the whole earth. Though, AD 2013 will witness the outbreak of the powers of darkness in the earth; however, the year will also feature the arising of the sons and daughters of light to overcome evil and show forth the unending power of the heavenly kingdom.

2Tim 3:1-5

1 ¶ But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

EMERGENCE OF STRONG AND POWERFUL PEOPLE

A Strong and Powerful people will emerge in the body of Christ across the nations from the year 2013. And many of these folks will come out of the furnace of afflictions. They will operate in new levels of spiritual authority which will enable them to radically enforce the righteousness of God in the earth and also position them to fulfill significant and strategic prophecies in our generation. Previously unknown churches will begin to surface and come to limelight across the nations. These new emerging churches will raise a new standard of accurate lifestyle in the body of Christ- they will occupy new frontiers in the Spirit- and operate at the cutting-edge of God’s timely Purposes and awakening of the Spirit.

The unction of the Holy One is hereby coming afresh upon you to survive the choky satanic atmosphere being generated by the enemy. The Lord God is with you- He will never leave nor forsake you. And His mercy will preserve you against all odds. The LORD is covering you at the negative influence of evil and satanic reinforcement intended to invoke curses and plagues against you. As you lift up holy hands in humble adoration and raise your voice to worship the king of glory, the rain of the Spirit will fall upon you to fill you with His power from on high to fulfill your prophetic destiny and accomplish the will of God.

Joel 2:1-2

1 ¶ Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand:

 2 A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations.

WAVES OF INTRIGUES AND DECEITS

The battle is raging in the heavenlies! The prince of the power of the air is sending out evil signals to hypnotize the world and bewitch humanity to relinquish their dignity in desperate pursuit of their selfish interest. Many people will become agents of darkness and messengers of satan by drastically working hard to satisfy their personal gain at the expense of their godly values. The idol of self is being erected for humanity to bow to; and many will fall prey to this satanic pitfall. As many that fall victim to this scheme of allegiance to their selfish end will have their heart corrupted and filled with wickedness. They will harm other innocent people and hurt precious lives. Betrayal of trust among friends and brethren will heighten. Moreover, the kingdom of darkness and forces of evil are becoming extremely treacherous, and the implications of this will be abortion of destinies, heart-breaks and bloodshed in the earth. Therefore, take heed that you do not get swept away by the tidal waves of darkness.

THE PROPHETIC PARALLEL OF HURRICANE SANDY

This time marks a defining season in the advancement of God's Prophetic purposes in the lives of as many folks among God's children whose hearts are panting after Him amid contradictions of their faith, adversities, challenges, test and trials of faith. Then, the Lord chose to use my life & family as a Prophetic pointer and sign to portray and amplify certain strategic counsels and word in due season HE is conveying to the Church at this critical time.

18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

My wife was surgically operated today (30th October 2012), and the surgery was quite challenging and delicate. There was no doubt about the fact that we were specifically led by the Spirit and assured by the Lord that the medical procedures would be a success before we embarked on them. And at the end, our God showed up & glorified His name!

On that faithful day, the whole experience was  very trying and strenuous for me. So, at the end of the day, I laid down praying in the Spirit and listening to music from my i-pad. All of a sudden, a song by Jeremy Camp, titled, “I will walk by faith,” stroke my Spirit as I listened, and I broke down into tears, weeping and wailing like a baby. My heart cried and bled for my beautiful angel: my loving wife- my destiny-partner and soul-mate, who has been through severe pains over the years, and has relentlessly fought the fight of faith over her health. I wept heavily and expressed myself unrestrained that our God, in His infinite mercy and endlessly love, will make this moment a turning point for us.

Subsequently,I had to call someone very close to us to lean on and draw some strength. After which I asked the Lord to show me a sign that HE is with us (NB; I have always known in the scriptures and that the LORD is with us & that HE will never leave nor forsake His own); then, the Lord spoke to me distinctly, “I will show you a sign that I am with you in this journey and through it all: 'I will strengthen, comfort and visit you with a mighty hand,' and I will send you a timely prophetic message to my Church”; HE said. The next moment I got a message on my blackberry messenger from our church blackberry messenger group, posted by a brother, titled, “Double Rainbow over Manhattan today”. Immediately, I knew the Lord was beginning to speak. I had to stay awake all through the night to listen as the Lord revealed His plans and intents to me.

HAVOC CAUSED BY HURRICANE SANDY

It was reported by the News media today (30th October 2012)that a double rainbow appeared in Manhattan early this morning as the city begins recovery and rebuilding process following hurricane Sandy. Sandy affected many atlantic cities of the USA, across the North east; including New york, New jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, West Virginia, Connecticut, New England, etc. Sandy wrecked countless havoc in all these cites; causing ferocious flooding, power outage in many places, fire outbreak, and most unfortunately: human casualties and tragedy. The last count was about thirty lives already claimed so far, & rendered so many people homeless(NB; More than a hundred lives have now being lost to Hurricane Sandy and the Super-storm Sandy by the time of publishing of this write up).
Furthermore, it must be noted that hurricane Sandy had previously affected nations like Caribbean, Haiti and Jamaica prior to this week.  
A DOUBLE RAINBOW APPEARED OVER MANHATTAN: A SIGN OF THE COVENANT

The photo of the double rainbow that appeared in Manhattan, early morning of tuesday 30th October 2012, was shared by ABC News and other news media. Rainbow was given by God to Noah as a sign of remembrance of His covenant with Noah.

Covenant is the closest and deepest form of relationship between two or more people. We, as children of God, have covenant with Him, and such covenant which can not be broken. Our God does not repent of His promises towards us, neither does He abandon His plans and intentions concerning His children. Though, sovereign, but yet, full of integrity and love. Our confidence and hope are, therefore, based on who He is, and not what we have- on His perfection, and not our inadequacy.

Isaiah 55
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Our gaze is set on the face of Jesus, our Rock and fortress through His unfailing Word; knowing that no matter what life may hold, our destinies and future are absolutely secured. God's word is the sure word of prophecy that can not be broken. As long as the law that sustains the day and night still holds, and each natural season of life continues to take their turn; God's plan of peace, harmony, well-being, prosperity and fulfilment towards us remains unfaltering and undeterred.

UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: HURRICANE SANDY- THE GAME CHANGER BY TAYO LADEJO

Ezekiel 21:27
"I will overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him"

I sense in the Spirit that hurricane sandy is a Prophetic Sign and an act of heaven's intervention to turn around the United States of America's Political landscape and change the course of events in this current American Presidential Election.

This election will not be decided by the situation of the global financial recession, neither will the rate of the economic recovery be the deciding factor. The result of the election will not even be determined by any human factor, because I, the LORD, the king of the universe, have already stepped in. I,the LORD, the Governor among the nations who kills and raises back to life; who removes kings and replaces them with beggars; who demotes one and exalts the other; I set up thrones and establish kingdoms; I am the I AM! And when I do a thing no one questions it, for I am the LORD, the Mighty Terrible One.

I created the craftsman that invents weapons of war for destruction, and I also created the waster that uses it; for I am GOD, and besides me there is none other. I reign in the heavens and sovereignly rule over the whole earth. And my counsels of old shall prevail over the nations.

Sandy, you are my messenger, sent on a mission to overturn and overturn it; and overturn this US Presidential election- to reverse the present momentum of the candidate that I have rejected. I have refused to hand over the baton to the one I have not chosen; and now, I command that the sceptre of power be returned to the one I have chosen to complete the work. Barack Obama, you are my anointed and my servant, raised to do my pleasures. You will remain on the seat of authority until you finish the rebuilding of the fallen walls of the nations. Indeed, you have blundered and stumbled many times. Though, you did broke my heart on a number of occasions; yet, I will show you great mercy and compassion. I will forgive your sins and wipe away your trespasses. For your are a vessel of my mercy.But this time around, you must stand only at the centre of my will. Come back to your first love: the place of absolute trust and reliance in the Lord, and not in the arm of the flesh. You must return your absolute allegiance to the Lord, and shun the path of compromise. You are not called to be a man-pleaser, neither did I bring you here to play to the gallery. You are a fierce and sharp threshing-instrument: you will break mountain into particles, hew mighty trees into pieces, and crush hills into powder. For I have created you for the rise and fall of many.

Barack, this time around, you will run with supernatural speed and succeed by the strength of the holy one; and in no time you will turn things around and lay up an heritage for the future generation. For, I, the LORD, I have trained you to fight with the strength of a warrior and serve with the heart of a servant. I have sent you to be a standard-bearer and pace-setter to set the 21st century model of leadership for other nations to imitate, says the LORD.

FOSTERING THE PROPHETIC 2

The Prophetic is one of the unique attributes and expressions of God from eternal past. It is an essential feature of the qualities of His divinity. The prophetic is one of the numerous expressions and qualities that defines Him as God: He is the Most High and the Sovereign One- nothing is hidden from Him and He relates with every creature from all nations according to His pre-ordained counsels and inexhaustible measures of His tender-mercy and loving-kindness, and all of these vividly describe Him as a result of His Prophetic nature.

PROPHETIC AS GOD’S DIVINE COMPOSITION

Romans 8:29

¶ For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. NKJV

The divine ability, by which God initiated, designed and determined our future is based on the fact that He is absolutely Prophetic. The word, foreknow, in Roman eight verse twenty nine is translated from the combination of two Greek words, Pro and Ginosko: ‘Pro’ means prior, in front, ever, before, ago; while, ‘Ginosko’ means to know, to perceive, to discern, or to be resolved. Therefore, the word, foreknow {Greek: Proginosko}, means to discern, to perceive and be fully resolved of a person’s or people’s future before their existence.

In other words, it is the Prophetic nature and attribute of God that enables Him to pre-determine our individual purpose in life and collective destiny as a church, right before we were born; even, destinies of nations, ever before they were established. It is natural for Him to have graphic knowledge of all living beings and all activities in the earthly, as well as in the heavenly realm because He is perfectly and absolutely prophetic. The Prophetic is therefore, a clear expression of God’s divine composition and spiritual make-up.

Furthermore, the word, ‘predestinate’ is translated from the Greek word ‘prioorizo’, which means to determine in advance and to appoint someone before his or her existence. Our heavenly Father’s prophetic qualities enable Him to determine our High calling or ultimate purpose in life, which is to become like Christ. Also, His prophetic qualities make it possible for Him to facilitate and outline our specific individual destinies. We are never a product of accidents, nor a result of natural coincidence; instead, our future is the consequence of God’s invention. He deliberately fine-tuned and accurately channeled His prophetic abilities towards the bringing forth of our future and destinies. We are most blessed because the Most High Himself is the one who drafted our future, and He has programmed the seasons of our lives ahead of time, even before the foundation of the earth and human existence. Our security and sense of confidence that constitute the assurance of our faith is situated on the fact that we absolutely belong to the LORD- we are “His properties”: for in Him we live, move and have our beings {Acts 17:28}. We may not yet had all that we desire in life, but one thing is certain, the Father’s counsels and intents concerning us are bound to be fulfilled. We can hereby derive our assurance in the fact that whatsoever God has purposed is bound to be fulfilled: and no force and power in the heavenly or earthly realm can hinder the fulfillment of the word of the LORD. We are therefore, unstoppable!
