THE PROPHETIC PARALLEL OF HURRICANE SANDY

This time marks a defining season in the advancement of God's Prophetic purposes in the lives of as many folks among God's children whose hearts are panting after Him amid contradictions of their faith, adversities, challenges, test and trials of faith. Then, the Lord chose to use my life & family as a Prophetic pointer and sign to portray and amplify certain strategic counsels and word in due season HE is conveying to the Church at this critical time.

Isaiah 8
18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.


MY PERSONAL LIFE AND FAMILY AS A PROPHETIC POINTER AND SIGN

My wife was surgically operated today (30th October 2012), and the surgery was quite challenging and delicate. There was no doubt about the fact that we were specifically led by the Spirit and assured by the Lord that the medical procedures would be a success before we embarked on them. And at the end, our God showed up & glorified His name!

On that faithful day, the whole experience was  very trying and strenuous for me. So, at the end of the day, I laid down praying in the Spirit and listening to music from my i-pad. All of a sudden, a song by Jeremy Camp, titled, “I will walk by faith,” stroke my Spirit as I listened, and I broke down into tears, weeping and wailing like a baby. My heart cried and bled for my beautiful angel: my loving wife- my destiny-partner and soul-mate, who has been through severe pains over the years, and has relentlessly fought the fight of faith over her health. I wept heavily and expressed myself unrestrained that our God, in His infinite mercy and endlessly love, will make this moment a turning point for us.

Subsequently,I had to call someone very close to us to lean on and draw some strength. After which I asked the Lord to show me a sign that HE is with us (NB; I have always known in the scriptures and that the LORD is with us & that HE will never leave nor forsake His own); then, the Lord spoke to me distinctly, “I will show you a sign that I am with you in this journey and through it all: 'I will strengthen, comfort and visit you with a mighty hand,' and I will send you a timely prophetic message to my Church”; HE said. The next moment I got a message on my blackberry messenger from our church blackberry messenger group, posted by a brother, titled, “Double Rainbow over Manhattan today”. Immediately, I knew the Lord was beginning to speak. I had to stay awake all through the night to listen as the Lord revealed His plans and intents to me.

HAVOC CAUSED BY HURRICANE SANDY

It was reported by the News media today (30th October 2012)that a double rainbow appeared in Manhattan early this morning as the city begins recovery and rebuilding process following hurricane Sandy. Sandy affected many atlantic cities of the USA, across the North east; including New york, New jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, West Virginia, Connecticut, New England, etc. Sandy wrecked countless havoc in all these cites; causing ferocious flooding, power outage in many places, fire outbreak, and most unfortunately: human casualties and tragedy. The last count was about thirty lives already claimed so far, & rendered so many people homeless(NB; More than a hundred lives have now being lost to Hurricane Sandy and the Super-storm Sandy by the time of publishing of this write up).
Furthermore, it must be noted that hurricane Sandy had previously affected nations like Caribbean, Haiti and Jamaica prior to this week.  
A DOUBLE RAINBOW APPEARED OVER MANHATTAN: A SIGN OF THE COVENANT

The photo of the double rainbow that appeared in Manhattan, early morning of tuesday 30th October 2012, was shared by ABC News and other news media. Rainbow was given by God to Noah as a sign of remembrance of His covenant with Noah.

Covenant is the closest and deepest form of relationship between two or more people. We, as children of God, have covenant with Him, and such covenant which can not be broken. Our God does not repent of His promises towards us, neither does He abandon His plans and intentions concerning His children. Though, sovereign, but yet, full of integrity and love. Our confidence and hope are, therefore, based on who He is, and not what we have- on His perfection, and not our inadequacy.

Isaiah 55
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Our gaze is set on the face of Jesus, our Rock and fortress through His unfailing Word; knowing that no matter what life may hold, our destinies and future are absolutely secured. God's word is the sure word of prophecy that can not be broken. As long as the law that sustains the day and night still holds, and each natural season of life continues to take their turn; God's plan of peace, harmony, well-being, prosperity and fulfilment towards us remains unfaltering and undeterred.

Hebrews 6

UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: HURRICANE SANDY- THE GAME CHANGER BY TAYO LADEJO

Ezekiel 21:27
"I will overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him"

I sense in the Spirit that hurricane sandy is a Prophetic Sign and an act of heaven's intervention to turn around the United States of America's Political landscape and change the course of events in this current American Presidential Election.

This election will not be decided by the situation of the global financial recession, neither will the rate of the economic recovery be the deciding factor. The result of the election will not even be determined by any human factor, because I, the LORD, the king of the universe, have already stepped in. I,the LORD, the Governor among the nations who kills and raises back to life; who removes kings and replaces them with beggars; who demotes one and exalts the other; I set up thrones and establish kingdoms; I am the I AM! And when I do a thing no one questions it, for I am the LORD, the Mighty Terrible One.

I created the craftsman that invents weapons of war for destruction, and I also created the waster that uses it; for I am GOD, and besides me there is none other. I reign in the heavens and sovereignly rule over the whole earth. And my counsels of old shall prevail over the nations.

Sandy, you are my messenger, sent on a mission to overturn and overturn it; and overturn this US Presidential election- to reverse the present momentum of the candidate that I have rejected. I have refused to hand over the baton to the one I have not chosen; and now, I command that the sceptre of power be returned to the one I have chosen to complete the work. Barack Obama, you are my anointed and my servant, raised to do my pleasures. You will remain on the seat of authority until you finish the rebuilding of the fallen walls of the nations. Indeed, you have blundered and stumbled many times. Though, you did broke my heart on a number of occasions; yet, I will show you great mercy and compassion. I will forgive your sins and wipe away your trespasses. For your are a vessel of my mercy.But this time around, you must stand only at the centre of my will. Come back to your first love: the place of absolute trust and reliance in the Lord, and not in the arm of the flesh. You must return your absolute allegiance to the Lord, and shun the path of compromise. You are not called to be a man-pleaser, neither did I bring you here to play to the gallery. You are a fierce and sharp threshing-instrument: you will break mountain into particles, hew mighty trees into pieces, and crush hills into powder. For I have created you for the rise and fall of many.

Barack, this time around, you will run with supernatural speed and succeed by the strength of the holy one; and in no time you will turn things around and lay up an heritage for the future generation. For, I, the LORD, I have trained you to fight with the strength of a warrior and serve with the heart of a servant. I have sent you to be a standard-bearer and pace-setter to set the 21st century model of leadership for other nations to imitate, says the LORD.

FOSTERING THE PROPHETIC 2

The Prophetic is one of the unique attributes and expressions of God from eternal past. It is an essential feature of the qualities of His divinity. The prophetic is one of the numerous expressions and qualities that defines Him as God: He is the Most High and the Sovereign One- nothing is hidden from Him and He relates with every creature from all nations according to His pre-ordained counsels and inexhaustible measures of His tender-mercy and loving-kindness, and all of these vividly describe Him as a result of His Prophetic nature.

PROPHETIC AS GOD’S DIVINE COMPOSITION

Romans 8:29

¶ For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. NKJV

The divine ability, by which God initiated, designed and determined our future is based on the fact that He is absolutely Prophetic. The word, foreknow, in Roman eight verse twenty nine is translated from the combination of two Greek words, Pro and Ginosko: ‘Pro’ means prior, in front, ever, before, ago; while, ‘Ginosko’ means to know, to perceive, to discern, or to be resolved. Therefore, the word, foreknow {Greek: Proginosko}, means to discern, to perceive and be fully resolved of a person’s or people’s future before their existence.

In other words, it is the Prophetic nature and attribute of God that enables Him to pre-determine our individual purpose in life and collective destiny as a church, right before we were born; even, destinies of nations, ever before they were established. It is natural for Him to have graphic knowledge of all living beings and all activities in the earthly, as well as in the heavenly realm because He is perfectly and absolutely prophetic. The Prophetic is therefore, a clear expression of God’s divine composition and spiritual make-up.

Furthermore, the word, ‘predestinate’ is translated from the Greek word ‘prioorizo’, which means to determine in advance and to appoint someone before his or her existence. Our heavenly Father’s prophetic qualities enable Him to determine our High calling or ultimate purpose in life, which is to become like Christ. Also, His prophetic qualities make it possible for Him to facilitate and outline our specific individual destinies. We are never a product of accidents, nor a result of natural coincidence; instead, our future is the consequence of God’s invention. He deliberately fine-tuned and accurately channeled His prophetic abilities towards the bringing forth of our future and destinies. We are most blessed because the Most High Himself is the one who drafted our future, and He has programmed the seasons of our lives ahead of time, even before the foundation of the earth and human existence. Our security and sense of confidence that constitute the assurance of our faith is situated on the fact that we absolutely belong to the LORD- we are “His properties”: for in Him we live, move and have our beings {Acts 17:28}. We may not yet had all that we desire in life, but one thing is certain, the Father’s counsels and intents concerning us are bound to be fulfilled. We can hereby derive our assurance in the fact that whatsoever God has purposed is bound to be fulfilled: and no force and power in the heavenly or earthly realm can hinder the fulfillment of the word of the LORD. We are therefore, unstoppable!

FOSTERING THE PROPHETIC {1}

Introduction

The Prophetic is a dimension of life that all of God’s children are supposed to operate in on a consistent basis. We are all called of God to operate smoothly in the supernatural without the fear of stumbling or slipping into error. Off-course, the safety and advance in the prophetic realms are provided by both the stability that only comes by the clarity of the revealed word of God and the balance that comes through discerning the body of Christ and submitting to spiritual authority.

The Prophetic is therefore, the revelation of the mind of God and of His divine secrets through diverse means orchestrated by the will and discretion of the Holy Spirit with the intent of bringing God’s children into intimacy with Him and making them instrumental to the accomplishment of His divine purposes and agenda in the earth.

Operating in the prophetic is not reserved to a few spiritual giants, neither is it limited to certain renowned and distinguished personalities among God’s children. The prophetic is not even restricted to the office and ministry of the Prophet; but rather, every single child of God has the right to function in prophetic realms and anointing because it is the natural consequence of walking with God. The prophetic hence, manifests in our lives and through us as we dwell in the presence of God. When we walk in the consciousness of the indwelling Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit of God begins to show us of things to come, and thus, the futuristic revelatory dimension of the prophetic finds expression in us.

John 16:

13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

 14 "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

 15 "All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.  NKJV

THE PROPHETIC VALIDATES US FOR GOD’S INNER-CIRCLE

Now, having established the fact that the prophetic is not a spiritual dimension set aside as an exclusive right of a selected few among God’s children; rather, it is open to all, if only we dare to desire an intimate relationship with God and are determined to live for His pleasure. God’s uttermost desire for us is that we all become His friends. He desires that we mature spiritually, and cultivate His heart-quality that will qualify us to come into His inner-circle.  It is our heavenly Father’s pleasure that His children become His friends.

Amos 3:

7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. NKJV

Psalms 25:

14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.

John 15:

14 "You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

 15 "No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

The prophetic is therefore, intended by God to draw us into friendship with Him. The prophetic is not expected to serve as an end to itself, but rather, as a means to an end. In other words, the prophetic is a bait to lure us into the secret place of the LORD where He begins to communicate to us the depth of His love, intricacies of His agenda and details of His classified information. The responsibility of becoming His friends requires the discipline of seeking His face to derive our satisfaction in knowing Him intimately on a personal basis and longing to see His fame and glory cover the earth. It is this sense of responsibility that motivates us to passionately and distinctly hear the LORD speak to us as we wait upon Him until the revelation of His heart: His mind and will are disclosed to us.

THE REVELATION OF SECRETS AND HEART OF GOD

Once the LORD carefully chooses and approves us as His friends, He draws us to His secret chambers, and begins to unveil to us divine mysteries and revelation of His prophetic agenda for mankind. The revelation-expression of the Prophetic is simply the channel and avenue through which the divine secrets of God are communicated to us. In other words, the priority in the heavenly is not the prophetic encounters we experience; that is, visions and revelations, but instead, the divine secrets of God that are unveiled through visions and revelations, as well as the word of the LORD that illuminates His plans and purposes to bring strength and direction to the body of Christ.

Deuteronomy 29:

29 "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.  (NKJV)

Psalms 27:

4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.

 5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

Divine secrets are the unveiling of the mind of God that highlights His plans and purposes to us so that we will not be left in the dark as far as the manifestation of His kingdom in the earth is concerned. Our God delights in exposing His objectives and agenda to us, and even, the divine timing for their fulfillments. Those who are truly elevated in the spirit to become God’s friends do share His heart and character. They are extremely sensitive to the LORD’s heart-beats: they know when He is pleased and satisfied. They are never judgmental because of their understanding of the power of grace, and they therefore, survive on it. They share the LORD’s perspective on both spiritual and natural issues of life. They also share His temperaments, and so, are able to comport themselves midst crisis and contradictions of life. They are never boastful, but rather, constantly humble themselves under God’s mighty hand. The decisions and choices they make are never based on their selfish interest, or pressure mounted from the systems of this world. They are driven only by one ambition: which is, to love and know the Lord till the end of age. And God and only God, is the centre of their allegiance and satisfaction in life.

PROPHECY {31-08-11}

 

I WILL BE SILENT NO MORE... Tayo ladejo

Silent no more says the Lord, I will be silent no more says the Lord. I have come to show forth my power, I have come to stretch forth my mighty hand, yes I have come to stretch my right hand of righteousness, Hallelujah, I have come says the Lord. I will crush down the foes under your feet; I will beat down your enemies. I will destroy all the destroying mountains. I will equip you says the Lord, I will give you all that you require to rule and have dominion over the works of Satan. Yes! I have come to do a work; I will destroy the evil doers; I have come to stir you up to triumph, yes to stir faith inside of you, even the faith of Christ which is the seed of life in you.

You will have victory; this is the victory that overcomes the world, even your faith. With the power of your faith you will overcome. Arise now and respond to the voice of the Lord and to the promptings of His Spirit; you will do exploits says the Lord.

AWAKE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS.... Tayo ladejo

There is a release of God^,s grace upon you, it^,s the grace of our Lord Jesus, it is resting upon you now, wake up! Wake up! Says the Lord from your slumber, awaken to righteousness; take action, awake to creativity, to excellence, to triumph and to victory. Rise up, put on your beautiful garments; put on your strength o Zion. Put off the filthy garments; shake off your dust for the Lord your God has come to arm you; yes He has come to arm you with strength and vigor. It is time for you to fight, says the Lord, it is time for you to fight the battle of the Lord- you must raise your voice and cry for vindication, this is your season of victory.

You will possess territories, cities and mountains. Yes, I have set before you mountains; mountains of commerce and trade, of oil and gas; mountains of economy, education, energy and military. It is time for you to possess them all. Do not look at the externals, but, you look inward, I say look inward. The light of Jehovah will break into your heart and illuminate you, the brightness of our God will engulf you, you will possess the earth and you will take over the mountains; you will rule and reign by the faith of the Son of God.

IT IS HIGH TIME TO POSSESS THE LAND......Tayo ladejo

I can hear in my spirit right now, the Lord is saying, you must encourage yourself in Him. Do not say in your heart that,^, I have attempted it and failed^,,; do not say, ^,,the enemy is too strong for me to overcome; do not say, “the city is too high for me to possess^”; do not say, ^,,the city is a stronghold and it is built upon the mountain top^,,; for I have given the land for your possession. You have to stop looking down on yourself; stop looking to yourself, rather, look up to Jehovah, the God of all flesh; trust and hope in Him; find fulfillment in the counsel of God- your assurance should be in the power of the Holy One. With God all things are possible.

Am I not the God of all flesh, says the Lord, is there anything too hard for me? Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Encourage yourself in the Lord; be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might; be strengthened in the love of God and in the hope of His resurrection. The Lord of Host will be your shield; do not say confederacy to the things these people say; you were not designed to judge by sight, do not speak the language of impossibility, fear not; you are designed to walk by faith; the faith walk responds to the cry of the spirit, to the word God and to His will. You will pursue and you will overtake and you will recover all.

PROPHECY{TUES,16TH AUG 2011}

 

THE VISION OF THE GREAT DRAGON   

I see a dragon in the spirit, it’s a great dragon. This dragon is occupying the air space in the heavenlies and it is practically blocking the penetration of light- preventing light from shining on the earth. I notice that the dragon is spitting out fire. I just know by the spirit what this fire means; it signifies death and destruction. This dragon also has a long tail and it’s got some kind of dark substance all over the tail. What is the meaning of this substance, Lord? The dark substance speaks of deceit. I sense the Lord is speaking both to church and the nations.

INFLENCE OF THE DRAGON OVER THE CHURCH

The great dragon occupying the airspace is exercising illegal power over the Church and it is responsible for the lawlessness in the Church of God; the mystery of iniquity that is being unveiling in these last days. The spirit of lawlessness works by shaping the mindsets of people through negative philosophies and doctrines. What this spirit does is that, it breaths dullness upon the church. The devil knows that if the church can just learn of the Heavenly Father, if she should come to a place of understanding the will and counsel of God she will be changed forever. You will no longer be ordinary but walk in your true identity- the supernatural, says the Lord.

The Lord is therefore, removing the blindfold, and my children will no longer love darkness, rather, they will begin to love and embrace light; they will be free from the ignorance of religion- activities without productivity. You will see again, says the Lord; discernment is returning back to you, says the Lord of hosts.

I hear the Lord, He is whispering to me and He is saying that the solution to defeating the dragon is in the hand of the church. I see a people that God is raising and training. These are the ones who will wage war with the dragon and prevail.

INFLUENCE OF THE DRAGON OVER THE NATIONS

The Lord says that this dragon has enormous power and influence over the nations. It is weakening the souls of men of might. This dragon is frustrating men of skills and understanding.  As a matter of fact, the Lord is just bringing this understanding to me- one major thing this dragon is responsible for is economic turmoil across the nations. Whenever leaders introduce genuine and intelligent policies, the dragon nullifies them. It is sucking up the nutrient from the soil of the earth, thereby, putting curses upon world economies.

 Do you see the rise of cruelty in the hearts of leaders of certain nations of the earth? It is the doing of this dragon. These leaders kill their own people without caring. The dragon has taken over their hearts and they destroy and massacre with impunity; they have developed callous and wicked hearts.

Furthermore, a lot of the evil and natural disasters being experienced across the nations are caused by this great dragon. Somehow, for some reasons, the Lord Himself has permitted this dragon a measure of power and influence over the sea and over the air so it can cause destruction in the sea, land and in the air. But, thus saith the Lord, I will deliver the nations and I will deliver creations. The church will be delivered and creation will experience the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Only the church, says the Lord, only my chosen ones can bring deliverance to the nations. The children of God who have grown to sonship will wage war against the dragon and prevail. The sons of light will defeat the great dragon.

OUR DESTINATION IN CHRIST 1

ROMANS 8

29 ¶ For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

Christianity is a journey. It commences from salvation and ends at the Image and fullness of Christ’s stature. Christianity is not a religion, but a vibrant and dynamic relationship with God. As a matter of fact, we can measure the progression of our journey in God from one point to another. We will not make significant progress in our walk with God if we lack the sense of destination. How ridiculous does it sound if a person is said to be on a journey but does not know where he is heading to. Our relationship with God is a journey that begins at salvation but ends at the stature of the fullness of Christ. {Rom 8:29; Eph 4:11 – 15}

There are many distractions being designed today to frustrate our journey in God. The only way to break through every barrier and opposition is to set our gaze on the glory set before us, that is, our destination- the fullness of Christ – perfection. {Heb 12:1-2} It is only as we grow up into Christ {the perfect man} that we portray His purity, Glory, Power, Authority and Love in fullness.

OUR DESTINATION IS NOT A PLACE

In the past, we have been taught that our goal as Christians is to make heaven. It has being emphasized that heaven should be the most important thing to a Christian and that is the whole essence of our walk with God. As spiritual as this notion sounds, it is not scripturally accurate. I am not saying that we should not intend to make heaven. Making heaven is the will of God for all His children. However, it must be clear to us that while heaven is God’s gift to us, the primary purpose for our salvation is becoming like Christ. As a matter of fact God’s agenda since creation has not changed. The plan of God is that man should extend His heavenly dominion and reign to the earth realm.

PSALM 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

GEN 1:26 ¶ Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

THE DAY OF THE LORD

            When the vision of conforming to the fullness of Christ’s image becomes all consuming in our hearts, we will begin to experience the emission of revelation and light in an explosive manner. Illumination will come on the church to bring forth the depths of God’s people. The earth is about to witness the church of the firstborn that is neither denominational nor discriminatory. The ‘laser’ of the Spirit is splitting all barriers holding bound the true church Christ purchased with His blood.

            The day of the invasion of the Spirit is coming upon the earth and the believers who have allowed the circumcision of their hearts with the inscription of the Spirit will begin to set a new standard in the earth. This will bring great power upon the church with such impact that will surpass the accomplishments of the early church. This power will only be seen through those responding to the cry of the Spirit – the call to perfection.
